How do I set up my Business / Company profile?

A Business profile makes your account look more professional and helps buyers trust you. It shows your business name, address, working hours, description, and other details right on your ads and profile page.

How to access your Business settings

1. Sign in to your Jiji account;
2. Go to My Profile → Settings;
3. Open the Business details (or Company profile) section.

What you can set up

• Company name — the name shown on your profile and ads.
• Custom URL (slug) — a short, branded link to your profile page (for example, jiji.ng/your-business). Changes go through moderation before they go live.
• Address — your physical location. You can choose whether to show this address publicly to buyers. The address goes through moderation.
• Description — a short text introducing your business, the products you sell, and what makes you a great seller.
• Working hours and days — when buyers can reach you. Useful so people know when to expect a reply.
• Website link — a link to your official website. The link is checked by our team before being shown.
• Delivery information — the region you deliver to, an estimated delivery time, and the delivery fee. This information is displayed to buyers on your ads so they know upfront what to expect.

Why some fields take time to appear

Fields like Company name, Custom URL, Address, and Website link go through manual moderation to protect buyers from misleading or unsafe business listings. Once approved, they appear on your profile and ads.

Tips for a strong Business profile

• Use your real business name — buyers are more likely to contact a clearly named business than an anonymous profile;
• Add an honest, specific description — say what you sell, where you're based, and how long you've been in business;
• Keep working hours accurate so buyers don't message you at times you can't reply;
• Consider buying a Boost Package — some tiers unlock extras like a clickable website link and Email/social-media promotions.
