How do I block someone in chat?

If a user is bothering you in chat — sending spam, scams, or messages you don't want to receive — you can mark them as spam. This moves their conversation into your Spam folder, so it stops appearing in your main inbox.

1. Open the chat with the person you want to block;
2. Open the chat menu and select "Mark as spam";
3. The conversation moves to your Spam folder right away.

What happens after you mark someone as spam:

• Their conversation with you is moved out of your main chat list and into the Spam section;
• Any new messages they send you will land in Spam directly — you won't be disturbed by notifications;
• You can still find the conversation in your Spam folder if you ever need to refer back to it.

Changed your mind?

You can unblock the user at any time:

1. Open your Spam folder in chat;
2. Open the conversation with the user;
3. Select "Unmark as spam" (or move the chat back to your inbox).

If someone is doing more than just spamming — for example, threatening you, sending scam links, or trying to defraud you — please also report them via the "Report abuse" option so our Support Team can investigate and take action.
