How do I register on Jiji?

Creating a Jiji account is fast and free. Here's how:

1. Open the Jiji homepage and click "Login" in the top-right corner;
2. Select "Sign up" to create a new account;
3. Enter your phone number — this will be your main login. Make sure it's a valid Nigerian number you have access to;
4. You'll receive a verification SMS with a confirmation code. Enter the code to confirm your phone number;
5. Set a password for your account;
6. Optionally add your email address — it'll help you recover your account if needed and receive important notifications.

Prefer to sign up with Google or Facebook?

On the "Sign up" screen, choose "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Facebook". We'll connect your social account to Jiji and create a new profile based on your basic info. You can always add or change your phone number later in your profile settings.
