Cars45 strives to provide you with quality, detailed inspection reports so that you know what car to buy.
However, unexpected things happen. If the inspection report turns out to be non-exhaustive, rest assured we'll find ways to sort this out on a case-by-case basis. Cars45 has a transparent complaints-handling process.
Here are the steps you should take to report the issue you've faced:
- Send an email to dealers@cars45.com and attach all the details: the report you got, the type of damage that was not specified there, etc. We'll appreciate every detail that can help us understand the situation better. If you're not comfortable with sending emails, you're free to schedule a call with your Dealer Manager and explain everything by phone;
- We'll share your complaint with the relevant department and find a specialist who can double-check everything from scratch;
- If a Cars45 technical expert determines that the issue was indeed not described in the report or wasn't described fully, they will come to you to confirm that the issue exists;
- As soon as the issue is verified, Cars45 will offer you one of these resolution options:
- Offer a discount, as per policy, to cover the cost of repairs;
- Pay for repairs at a workshop of your choice;
- Cover only the cost of the parts needed for repairs;
- Fully repair your car at our own facilities;
- Help you find a specialist who can fix the damage properly at your expense, if the damage can't be covered by a warranty.
The available compensation options depend on different factors such as the type of damage, car price, and other circumstances determined on an individual basis.
Whatever happens, rest assured that we'll find a solution.
