How do I change my email address?

You can update the email address linked to your Jiji account in your profile settings. We use a two-step confirmation process to keep your account secure.

  1. Sign in to your Jiji account;
  2. Go to My Profile → Settings;
  3. Find the Email section and click "Change";
  4. We'll send a verification email to your current email address. Open it and click the confirmation link to confirm it's you;
  5. Enter the new email address you want to use;
  6. We'll send a confirmation link to the new email address. Open it and click the link to complete the change.

That's it — your email address has been updated and will be used for important account notifications from now on.

Important things to know:

  • You need access to both your current and your new email to complete the change;
  • The new email address must not already be linked to another Jiji account;
  • There's a limit of 3 email-change attempts in a short period. If you hit the limit, try again later;
  • If you don't see the confirmation emails, check your spam folder.
