Frequently Asked Questions
No — Jiji's rules ask each person to use a single account. Multiple accounts from the same person can be detected and penalised.
Why we don't allow duplicate accounts
How we detect duplicate accounts
Jiji uses several signals to identify accounts that belong to the same person — for example, the same phone, the same email, repeated device fingerprints, similar ad patterns, and shared payment details. When the system finds a match, the duplicate account's ads are usually hidden from search (moved to drafts) and the account can be restricted or blocked.
What if you really need multiple accounts?
What about an old account I forgot about?
If you've registered earlier and lost access to that account, don't open a new one — recover the old one instead:
Blocked account
If your account was blocked for rule violations, creating a new account to bypass the block is itself a rule violation — both accounts can end up blocked. Instead, see Why is my account restricted or blocked? for the right way to resolve it.
