The "Verified" badge means your store has passed offline store verification after a visit from a Jiji offline agent. During the visit, the agent adds verified store details to your store page.
Important: If you edit certain verified store information, you may lose your verified status and the badge. This is why you may see a warning message when editing your store info. To regain the badge, you will need to pass offline store verification again.
This information is added by a Jiji offline agent after your store is verified. It may include:
You will keep the "Verified" badge if you edit:
You can delete or replace a few photos. But if you remove or replace all store photos, you will lose your verified status.
You will lose the "Verified" badge if you edit:
For example, if you try to delete all store photos, the app will show a confirmation message warning that you will lose your "Verified" status. If you continue, the badge will be removed.
If the badge is removed, you will need to pass offline store verification again to get it back. If you are not sure whether a change will remove your badge, contact your personal manager or reach out to Jiji Support at support@jiji.ng.
"Verified" is added after your store passes offline store verification.
"CAC Verified" is an additional badge that may appear if your CAC was uploaded during offline store verification. If you do not have a CAC, this step is skipped, and you will not receive the "CAC Verified" badge.
At the moment, sellers cannot request this verification directly in the app. Offline store verification is currently available only to paid sellers.
