What do I do if the inspection report turns out to be non-exhaustive?

Cars45 strives to provide you with quality and detailed inspection reports so that you know what car to buy.

However, unexpected things happen. If the inspection report turns out to be non-exhaustive, be rest assured we'd find ways to sort this out, per case. Cars45 has a transparent complaints-handling process. 

Here are steps you should take to report the issue you've faced:

1) Send an email to dealers@cars45.com and attach all the details: the report you got, the type of damage that was not specified there, etc. We'll appreciate every detail that can help us understand the situation better. If you're not comfortable with sending emails, you're free to choose a call with your Dealer Manager and explain everything by phone;

2) We'll share your complaint with the relevant department and find a specialist who'll be able to double-check everything from scratch;

3) If Cars45 technical expert learns that the issue was indeed not described in the report or it wasn't described fully, he will come to you to confirm that the issue exists;

4) As soon as the issue is verified, Cars45 willl offer you one of the possible ways to solve it:

  • Offer a discount as per policy to cover the cost of repairs;
  • Pay for repairs, you decide where to repair your car yourself;
  • Only cover the cost of the parts needed for repairs;
  • Fully repair your car by ourselves;
  • Help you find a specialist who can fix the damage properly at your expense if the damages can’t be covered by a warranty.

The possible compensation options depend on different factors such as the type of damage, car price, and other circumstances that are determined on an individual basis.
