Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of local dishes daily.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Plan and organize meals according to the employer’s preferences and schedule.
Ensure ingredients and cooking supplies are properly stored and managed.
Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
Keep kitchen utensils, appliances, and equipment clean and in good condition.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination.
Report when food items or ingredients are running low.
Occasionally assist with grocery shopping and kitchen inventory.
Maintain a positive attitude and good communication with household members or staff.
Requirements & Skills
Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, be punctual, respectful, and trustworthy. The ideal candidate should be neat, well-organized, able to manage time effectively, and have a positive attitude toward work. Previous experience working as a cook or chef will be an added advantage.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Ability to read, write, and communicate in simple English. Must be able to follow recipes, meal plans, and basic food safety rules. Secondary school education (SSCE) or equivalent is acceptable. Candidate should be disciplined, responsible, and willing to learn new skills.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cook/chef to work full-time in Lekki new road bus stop. The role includes free accommodation and a friendly work environment. The cook will be responsible for preparing daily meals, keeping the kitchen clean, maintaining food supplies, and ensuring all meals are cooked on time.
