Responsibilities
HAssess beneficiaries’ needs and identify their social, emotional, financial, or family-related problems. Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and families. Connect people with services such as healthcare, education, housing, employment, legal aid, and financial assistance. Conduct home and community visits when necessary. Develop individual support plans and monitor beneficiaries’ progress. Maintain case records and documentation accurately and confidentially. Organize community activities and awareness programs on issues such as poverty, domestic violence, child protection, health, and education. Work with other professionals and organizations, including government agencies, schools, hospitals, and other NGOs. Advocate for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups and help protect their rights. Identify urgent or high-risk cases and make appropriate referrals.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
OND, HND, BSC Relevant experience working with vulnerable groups, communities, children, families, refugees, elderly people, or people with disabilities. Counselling and communication skills. Case management and report-writing skills. Knowledge of social welfare programs, human rights, and community development. Ability to work with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations. Computer skills, especially MS Office and basic data/reporting tools. Knowledge of local languages can be important, particularly for community-based NGO work. Depending on the country and role, professional registration/licensing may be required.
