Responsibilities

*Prepare and cook Nigerian dishesh * Assist with food preparation and ingredient handling * Follow Hormah Kitchen recipes and cooking standards * Maintain consistent food quality and presentation * Keep the kitchen clean and organised * Prepare meals for customer orders and catering events * Assist with portioning and packing food orders *Monitor ingredients and report when supplies are running low * Support the team during catering events * Run market errands when necessary * Learn and follow Hormah Kitchen’s cooking methods, recipes and standards * Carry out other kitchen duties as assigned

Must be hardworking, reliable and responsible * Must be punctual and committed to work * Must be willing to follow instructions and maintain Hormah Kitchen standards * Must be available to work full-time * Must be able to stand for long hours * Must have good physical stamina * Good cooking skills * Good hygiene and cleanliness * Ability to work under pressure * Teamwork and good communication * Willingness to learn and improve

Minimum Qualification Requirements

*OND *Previous experience as a cook in a catering business or professional kitchen is an advantage. *Must be willing to learn and be trained.
