The highly popular yet affordably priced Acer Aspire
is designed to run Windows 10 and not Google's Chrome OS. Having fourteen-inch
display size, these notebooks come featured with 2GB of RAM, an Intel Celeron
CPU. Meanwhile, the storage space is 64GB plus a 1TB of cloud storage you can
use on OneDrive totally free of charge for a full year.
The design of Acer Aspire may be somewhat unimpressive
or dreary, yet the structure is highly durable. It is made of dark-gray colored
nondescript plastic and features dimples on the surface of both the top and the
bottom. The entire construction of this netbook is for sturdiness rather than
style. The screen is surrounded by a bezel of matte-black finish while the deck
is matte-gray colored. What concerns the keyboard, it is fairy imposing . The
keys are applicable for quick typing whilst the arrow keys come as an advantage
over many other more modern and developed laptops as they are full sized. The
touchpad (4.25" x 2.25") is a quick response to as mouse and
multifinger movements.
The display of
Acer Aspire One (1366 x 768) lacks some brightness of colors. The color range
that covers only 53.4% in the sRGB spectrum is much lower than that of the
Chromebook 2. Another weak trait is the quality of sound. With tinny highs and
unimpressive lows, the sound quality won't let you enjoy any recording. The low
resolution (640 x 360) does not provide clear photos either. They come out
somewhat grainy and soft. However, the Acer Aspire One has one remarkable
feature that most more expensive notebooks don't provide - the battery life
(fifteen hours on a charge).
