Popcorn Maker/Operator

🍿 Responsibilities of a Popcorn Maker Prepare fresh and tasty popcorn for customers. Operate the popcorn-making machine safely and correctly. Measure ingredients accurately and maintain consistent quality. Package and display popcorn neatly. Attend to customers politely and provide good customer service. Handle sales and cash responsibly. Keep accurate records of daily sales. Monitor stock and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low. Keep the popcorn machine, counter, and work area clean at all times. Follow proper hygiene and food-safety practices. Reduce wastage of ingredients and packaging materials. Ensure the equipment is properly cleaned and stored after work. Report damaged equipment, customer complaints, or other problems promptly. Open and close the popcorn stand as required. Perform other duties necessary for the smooth running of the business.

Requirements: Must have experience making popcorn. Must be hardworking, reliable, and punctual. Must be clean and well-organized. Must be friendly and polite with customers. Must be able to handle cash and give correct change. Must be willing to work flexible hours. Previous experience in popcorn/snack sales is an advantage. Skills Needed: Good popcorn-making skills. Ability to prepare tasty, well-packaged popcorn. Good customer service and communication skills. Basic money-handling skills. Ability to keep the workspace clean. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to manage ingredients and avoid unnecessary waste.

Minimum Qualification Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO. Previous experience as a popcorn maker or snack vendor is an advantage. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be responsible, honest, and willing to learn.
