Responsibilities – Crop Production Farm Supervisor
Supervise and coordinate daily crop production activities from land preparation to harvesting.
Plan and supervise land clearing, ploughing, harrowing, ridging, planting, and transplanting activities.
Ensure crops are planted according to the approved farm calendar, spacing, and planting methods.
Coordinate irrigation and water management to ensure crops receive adequate water.
Monitor crops regularly for pests, diseases, weeds, and nutrient deficiencies and report problems promptly.
Supervise the proper application of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other farm inputs.
Coordinate weeding, pruning, staking, mulching, and other crop maintenance activities where required.
Requirements & Skills
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of OND/HND in Crop Production, Agronomy, Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of practical experience in crop farming or farm supervision.
Good knowledge of land preparation, planting, crop maintenance, pest and disease control, and harvesting.
Experience supervising farm workers and coordinating daily farm activities.
