Valid driver's license for the vehicle class (commercial/heavy-duty license for trucks and buses)
Minimum age, usually 21-45 years
Minimum secondary school certificate (SSCE/WAEC)
2-5 years of verified driving experience, ideally on similar vehicles
Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences
Medical fitness certificate, including good eyesight and hearing
Knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations
Valid means of identification and guarantor (common in Nigerian companies)
Clean criminal background check
Willingness to work long hours, weekends, or shifts when needed
