What it’s used for:
Controlling and measuring argon shielding gas from a cylinder to your TIG or MIG welder. Argon is what keeps your weld from oxidizing and getting black/porous.
Key parts:
1. Pressure Gauge - The big dial marked AR. It shows Cylinder Pressure in PSI and bar.
• Green zone = full bottle. Red zone = near empty. ∼0 PSI = change the cylinder.
2. Flowmeter Tube - The clear vertical tube on the left with the ball. It’s marked in LPM = Liters Per Minute.
