An aneroid sphygmomanometer is a medical instrument used for measuring a person's blood pressure. It consists of an inflatable cuff, a rubber bulb for inflation, air-release valve, and a calibrated dial gauge that displays the pressure reading in millimeters of mercury (mmHg). Unlike mercury sphygmomanometers, it uses a mechanical gauge instead of mercury to indicate pressure.
