Responsibilities
* Deliver structured lessons following the Nigerian JSS1 curriculum, while incorporating UK educational standards where appropriate.
* Teach core Nigerian junior secondary subjects, including English Studies, Mathematics, Basic Science, Basic Technology, Social Studies and Civic Education.
* Prepare daily lesson notes, weekly lesson plans and schemes of work.
* Develop engaging classroom activities that encourage critical thinking, comprehension and independent learning.
* Administer classwork, assignments, tests and continuous assessments.
* Monitor academic performance and provide regular progress reports.
* Support the student’s transition from the UK educational system to the Nigerian curriculum.
* Maintain a structured, supportive and productive classroom environment.
Requirements & Skills
Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc or another relevant qualification.
* Proven experience teaching upper primary or junior secondary students.
* Strong understanding of the Nigerian JSS1 curriculum.
* Excellent spoken and written English.
* Ability to teach multiple junior secondary subjects effectively.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc or another relevant qualification.
* Proven experience teaching upper primary or junior secondary students.
Minimum Experience
4 years
