A moving head smoke machine beam (internationally recognized as a moving head fog jet or a scanning pyro-simulator) is an advanced hybrid entertainment fixture. It takes a high-velocity vertical fog blaster and mounts it directly inside a motorized, scanning moving head yoke.Instead of shooting smoke from a fixed floor box, this machine can execute rapid 540° pan and 270° tilt sweeps, blasting colorful columns of illuminated smoke in any direction—straight up from the floor, horizontally across a stage, or straight down over a crowd from an overhead truss grid.
