To cut perfect, round holes in hard materials such as concrete, reinforced concrete (with rebar), stone, brick, and asphalt.
Instead of breaking or chipping the surface, it uses a hollow, diamond-tipped drill bit (called a core bit) that cuts a cylinder (core) out of the material — leaving a clean circular hole.
The machine’s motor provides rotational power, and the stand/base keeps the drill stable and straight while drilling.
