These flexible cables are made from 316 marine grade stainless steel.
They are suitable for running over sheaves or for forming thimble eyes. Ideal when high resistance to corrosion is needed or when the cables are being used for display purposes. The cables over 3 mm Ø are suitable for use with Sta-Lok terminations.
Unlike galvanised wire, stainless wire will show no telltale signs of wear such as rust streaks, but as no cables last for ever it is a wise precaution to enforce a schedule of replacement depending on the wires application.
