Security Personel

Provide personal security and protection for the employer and family. Monitor visitors, vehicles and movement around the residence. Maintain security awareness and report suspicious activity. Accompany the employer when required. Run personal and household errands as authorised. Purchase fuel and other essential supplies. Operate and monitor the generator safely. Monitor fuel levels and basic generator condition. Wash and maintain the employer's vehicles. Keep the compound clean, orderly and secure. Monitor gates, fences, lighting, drainage and other infrastructure. Identify and report faults, damage or maintenance requirements. Liaise with technicians, contractors and maintenance personnel when instructed. Assist with basic maintenance and emergency response. Maintain confidentiality regarding the employer, family, property and activities. Keep accurate records of fuel purchases, errands and other assigned activities. Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by the employer.

Good observation and situational-awareness skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to follow instructions and established security procedures. Basic knowledge of residential security. Ability to safely operate a generator. Ability to perform basic vehicle care and cleaning. Ability to carry out errands responsibly. Basic understanding of property and facility maintenance. Good time-management and organisational skills. Ability to respond calmly during emergencies. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where required. Desirable: Previous experience in personal security, estate security, security services, domestic support or facility operations. Valid driver's licence and good driving experience. First Aid/CPR training. Security training or certification.

Minimum: WAEC/NECO/SSCE or equivalent. Relevant work experience in security, driving, estate/property support, or a related field. Valid driver's licence if driving is part of the job. Preferred: OND/NCE or equivalent qualification. Security training/certification. First Aid/CPR certificate. Defensive driving certificate.
