The 2-Way Breeching Inlet is a vital part of a building's fire protection infrastructure, typically installed at ground level for easy access by fire departments. This unit is designed for use in dry or wet riser systems, allowing firefighters to connect two separate hoses simultaneously to boost water pressure within the building.
The body is cast from high-grade iron and features a 4-inch flanged base for a leak-proof connection to the main pipework. Each inlet is fitted with a non-return valve to ensure water travels in only one direction. This is a mandatory requirement for high-rise commercial buildings, malls, and industrial warehouses to meet fire safety codes.
