Responsibilities
1. Safe Transportation
Drive assigned vehicles safely and responsibly at all times.
Transport passengers, clients, staff, or goods to designated destinations.
Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Practice defensive driving to prevent accidents and incidents.
2. Vehicle Care and Maintenance
Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
Check fuel levels, engine oil, coolant, tires, lights, brakes, and other critical components.
Report mechanical faults, accidents, or damages promptly.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy.
3. Route Planning and Navigation
Plan routes efficiently to minimize delays.
Maintain good knowledge of roads, traffic conditions, and alternative routes.
Use navigation tools where necessary to optimize travel time.
4. Customer Service
Treat passengers and clients with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
Assist passengers where necessary.
Maintain a positive attitude

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Minimum of senior secondary school certificate (ssce/waec/neco).
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in english.
Additional vocational or technical certifications will be an advantage.
Valid nigerian driver's license (appropriate class).
Minimum Experience
3 years
A Professional Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of passengers, staff, clients, or company assets while ensuring strict compliance with traffic regulations and company policies. The role requires maintaining assigned vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition through routine inspections and prompt reporting of faults. The Driver is also expected to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service, maintain accurate trip and fuel records, safeguard company assets, and represent the organization positively at all times. Additionally, the Driver must possess good knowledge of Lagos road networks, alternative routes, and traffic patterns to ensure efficient service delivery and operational excellence.
