lockout/tagout (LOTO) station, which is a vital safety tool used in industrial settings to prevent accidental energization of equipment during maintenance or repairs.
Padlocks:
These are used to secure energy-isolating devices in the "off" position, preventing them from being turned on without the key. The different colors often signify different departments or authorized personnel.
Hasps:
These allow multiple workers to lock out a single energy source, ensuring that no one can re-energize the equipment until all locks are removed.
Tags:
These are attached to the locked-out equipment to provide clear warnings and identify the person who placed the lock. The tags include information about the maintenance and the expected completion time.
