Embroidery DI Printing Operator

Operate embroidery machines safely and efficiently Set up garments, caps and other materials correctly Select and install the correct hoops and frames Load embroidery designs onto the machine Check thread colours and thread tension Monitor the machine while it is running Fix basic issues such as thread breaks, needle breaks and bobbin Ensure embroidery is properly positioned and aligned Check finished work for quality, neatness and consistency Trim loose threads and carry out basic finishing Keep machines, work areas and tools clean Carry out basic machine maintenance and lubrication Record production and report machine problems when necessary Follow production instructions and meet daily targets Handle garments and materials carefully to avoid damage Maintain good housekeeping around the embroidery section Experience with Wilcom or other embroidery digitizing software is not required but will be an advantage Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage Ability to learn quickly

- Minimum of 3 years experience as an embroidery machine operator - Good knowledge of embroidery machines and production processes - Ability to operate single head and multi head embroidery machines - Good understanding of threading, hooping and machine setup - Ability to identify and resolve basic machine problems - Good eye for detail and quality - Ability to work with different fabrics, garments, caps and materials - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good time management and ability to meet production targets - Ability to follow embroidery designs and production instructions accurately - Basic computer skills - Wilcom or other embroidery digitizing experience is not required but will be an added advantage - Good communication and teamwork skills - Willingness to learn and improve - Reliable, organised and responsible - Must take pride in producing neat and high quality embroidery

- Minimum of 3 years experience as an embroidery machine operator - Minimum of SSCE or equivalent - Practical experience operating embroidery machines - Basic computer knowledge - Ability to read and follow embroidery designs and production instructions - Good attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to learn and improve - Wilcom or other digitizing experience is not required but will be an added advantage
