*What they’re like:*
1. *Size*: Most weigh 5kg to 12kg. The record holder, Darius the Continental Giant, was 1.3m long and 22kg.
2. *Temperament*: Despite their size, most giant breeds are gentle and laid-back. They’re often called "gentle giants".
3. *Care*: They need way more space than regular rabbits. Big hutches, strong cages, and lots of food. They eat 2-4x more than small breeds.
4. *Lifespan*: Usually 5-8 years, shorter than smaller rabbits due to their size.
*In Nigeria*: Giant rabbits are becoming popular for farming because they produce more meat. Farmers often raise Flemish Giant crosses or New Zealand White crosses. They handle heat okay but need shade, water, and good ventilation.
