Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver 🚚 ✔️ Deliver goods/packages safely and on time to customers or clients ✔️ Load and unload items carefully ✔️ Plan delivery routes and follow traffic laws 🛣️ ✔️ Inspect and maintain the vehicle regularly ✔️ Keep delivery records and obtain customer signatures when necessary 📝 ✔️ Communicate professionally with customers and employers ✔️ Ensure packages are handled properly to avoid damage 📦 ✔️ Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays immediately ✔️ Assist with basic logistics and errands when required ✔️ Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle 🚐

Requirements & Skills of a Delivery Driver 🚚 ✔️ Must possess a valid driver’s license 🪪 ✔️ Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic laws 🛣️ ✔️ Ability to drive vans or delivery vehicles efficiently 🚐 ✔️ Must be responsible, punctual, and trustworthy ✔️ Good communication and customer service skills 🗣️ ✔️ Ability to work with little or no supervision ✔️ Physically fit for loading and unloading packages ✔️ Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge 🔧 ✔️ Must have good organizational and time management skills ✔️ Previous delivery driving experience is an added advantage ✔️ Minimum of SSCE qualification may be required
