Montessori Classroom Teachers

Plan and deliver engaging Montessori-based lessons appropriate for each child’s developmental level. Prepare and maintain an organised, attractive and child-centred Montessori classroom. Guide children in Practical Life, Sensorial, Literacy, Numeracy and Cultural Activities. Observe, assess and document each child’s learning progress and development. Provide individual and small-group support based on children’s learning needs. Promote independence, confidence, good behaviour and positive social skills. Maintain accurate lesson plans, assessment records and pupils’ progress reports. Communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s progress. Ensure the safety, wellbeing and proper supervision of all pupils. Participate in staff meetings, training, school events and professional development activities. Work collaboratively with other teachers and school management. Uphold the values, policies and high educational standards of ZAIFA International Schools.

Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience, preferably in a Montessori or Early Years environment. Good knowledge of the Montessori method and child-centred learning. Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. Excellent spoken and written English. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to observe, assess and document children’s progress. Patient, caring, creative and passionate about working with young children. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good knowledge of safeguarding and child safety practices. Basic computer/digital skills for lesson planning, documentation and communication. Professional appearance, positive attitude, punctuality and reliability. Willingness to learn, attend training and continuously improve teaching practice.
