Experienced Chef

• Prepare a wide range of Nigerian local and continental dishes to Phams Delight standards. • Ensure consistent taste, quality, portion size and presentation of all meals. • Plan and coordinate daily food production according to expected demand. • Supervise Kitchen Assistants and ensure tasks are properly completed. • Ensure proper measurement and efficient use of ingredients to reduce wastage. • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use. • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and safety. • Ensure proper storage, labelling and preservation of food items. • Ensure meals are prepared and ready on time for opening and customer orders. • Follow Phams Delight recipes, SOPs and production procedures. • Monitor kitchen equipment, gas usage and report faults promptly. • Train and guide junior kitchen staff where necessary. • Maintain daily production records and report stock shortages or excessive wastages

- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Chef. - Strong knowledge of **Nigerian local and continental dishes**. - Excellent cooking, food preparation and presentation skills. - Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent taste and quality. - Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety and proper food storage. - Ability to manage kitchen assistants and work effectively as a team. - Good time management and ability to work under pressure. - Ability to control food portions and minimize wastage. - Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safe gas usage. - Good communication, discipline and attention to detail. - Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen. - Must be reliable, punctual and willing to learn and improve.
