The HP Omen is the laptop designed for game fans with small budgets. With the entire good performance, sturdy construction and competitive pricing, this model tends to become one of the company's best-selling devices.

Undoubtedly what captures the eye first, is the great changes the laptop has undergone. Here you won't find all those angular, jet-black aluminum frames. Instead, we get faux carbon fiber chassis and a fabulous Voodoo emblem on the lid. Of course, this is a striking dissimilarity, which will perfectly go with the multiple games installed in it.

The HP Omen comes powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB of RAM memory. This makes it great for a multitasking workload. We can't praise the notebook for its speed, yet the overall performance is on a good level.

What concerns the display, it is a 15.6-inch one with 1920x1080 pixels resolution. The picture quality this laptop provides is not, though, outstanding. It seems to be somewhat lackluster and the colors which are presumed to be quite bright appear dim here. However, the audio system this model comes with can definitely impress one. It easily fills a medium size room. Perhaps the best setting here is the Music. The latter demonstrates amazingly warm yet not always clear sound.

The red-backlit keyboard fascinates one with its seductive brightness and uniqueness. And though the keys are not so large, they provide quite a strong feedback. Typing appears smooth, noiseless and fast.

So, once you buy your first HP Omen laptop, be prepared to use it for about  seven hours with surfing on the web on one charging.
