Security / Gateman Needed at Thomas Estate

• Access Control: Open and close gates for pedestrians and vehicles, verifying visitor authorization before granting entry. • Visitor Logging: Record names, arrival times, departure times, and vehicle plate numbers in a logbook or digital system. • Perimeter Monitoring: Conduct routine patrols around the compound or gate area to check for signs of damage, forced entry, or suspicious activity. • Traffic Direction: Guide incoming and outgoing vehicles to prevent congestion and manage safe movement near the entrance. • Incident Reporting: Report security breaches, property damage, or unauthorized persons immediately to the property owner, facility manager, or law enforcement. • Compound Maintenance: Handle basic site upkeep such as keeping the gate area clean, watering compound plants, or running minor property errands depending on the employer's agreement.

• Education: Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent school-leaving certificate. • Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior experience in basic security, watchman, or gateman roles. • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand or remain alert for long hours and handle physical tasks around the gate. • Communication Skills: Polite, clear verbal communication to greet guests, residents, or delivery personnel. • Integrity and Punctuality: High level of trustworthiness, attention to detail, and reliability with shift times.
