Solar Apprentice With Settlement (Training Available)

Readiness to Learn Participate in structured field-based solar installation training under the supervision of certified master technicians. Assist in site assessments, including roof inspection, shading analysis, and customer load profiling. Support the deployment of prepaid solar systems for households, SMEs, and healthcare facilities. Learn to use AI-assisted energy sizing tools for optimal system configuration. Ready to learn Sales and Marketing Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on installed solar systems. Record installation data, take geo-tagged photos, and complete supervisor sign-off logs. Educate customers on system usage, prepaid token purchasing, and basic maintenance practices. Participate in weekly digital training modules covering electrical fundamentals, system design, and customer service. Uphold safety protocols at all times during installations and site visits. No prior solar experience required — full training will be provided. Fluency in English Language Minimum qualification: Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent. Basic understanding of electrical principles (voltage, current, resistance) is an advantage but not required. Interest in renewable energy and sustainable development. Willingness to learn and follow structured training curriculum. Ability to work in outdoor environments and at heights (rooftop installations). Physically fit for manual labor and equipment handling. Basic digital literacy: ability to use mobile apps, take photos, and send reports via SMS. Good communication skills in English (local language proficiency is a plus). Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic. Age: 18–35 years preferred. Candidates with prior experience in electrical work, construction, or mechanical trades will be given preference.
