As an usher, you’re the first person guests see and the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly. You welcome people at the door, help them find seats, and answer any questions they have. During the event you stay alert, keep things orderly, and quietly assist anyone who needs help — like latecomers, elderly guests, or in case of an emergency. Afterward you help people exit and make sure the venue is left tidy. It’s a job that needs a friendly attitude, good manners, and attention to detail because you’re representing the event and making sure everyone feels comfortable.
