We Are Hiring! Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on site. Ensure all works are executed according to approved architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the agreed timeline. Coordinate the activities of contractors, subcontractors, artisans, and suppliers. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. Measure and verify completed work before contractor payments are processed. Monitor the use of construction materials to minimize waste and prevent theft. Resolve technical issues that arise during construction. Ensure all construction works comply with local building codes and regulations.

Required Skills Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Project planning and site management skills. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. Attention to detail and quality control.

Bachelor's degree or hnd in civil engineering, building technology, or a related discipline. Coren registration (or working towards it) is an added advantage. Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.G. Nse, niqs, niob) is desirable.
