Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school according to the approved schedule.
- Pick up and drop off students at designated locations and times.
- Conduct basic daily checks on the bus, including tyres, brakes, lights, oil and coolant.
- Keep the school bus clean and in good working condition.
- Obey traffic laws and all road safety regulations.
- Ensure students board and alight safely.
- Maintain discipline and professional conduct while transporting students.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, delays or safety concerns to the school management promptly.
- Keep accurate records of trips and vehicle maintenance when required.
- Ensure the bus is properly parked and secured after each trip.
Requirements & Skills
- Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of driving experience.
- Previous experience driving a school bus or transporting children is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of road safety rules and routes within Lagos.
- Must be patient, punctual, honest, responsible and safety-conscious.
- Ability to communicate politely with students, parents and school staff.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to remain calm in traffic and emergency situations.
- Must have a good driving record and be willing to undergo background and reference checks.
- Must be medically fit for the job.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). A valid driver's licence appropriate for the school bus is compulsory. Higher educational qualifications and relevant driving certifications are an advantage.

We are seeking a responsible, experienced and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school.
The successful candidate must be punctual, patient, honest and familiar with road safety regulations and routes within Lagos. Duties include picking up and dropping off students at designated locations, carrying out basic vehicle checks, maintaining the cleanliness of the bus and ensuring the safety of all passengers.
Applicants must possess a valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle, have a good driving record and demonstrate responsible driving habits. Previous experience transporting schoolchildren is an added advantage.
