Responsibilities
Interpret design sketches and reference images accurately.
Develop precise patterns for women's wear designs.
Create first patterns and make necessary pattern adjustments after fittings.
Ensure patterns are production-ready with accurate measurements and markings.
Work closely with the designer to achieve the desired fit and silhouette.
Recommend pattern or construction improvements where necessary.
Meet agreed project deadline
Requirements & Skills
Proven experience in women's wear pattern drafting.
Ability to interpret design sketches, inspiration photos, and concepts into accurate patterns.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and pattern manipulation.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Reliable, disciplined, and able to meet project deadlines.
Good communication skills and willingness to take feedback.
Ability to work independently on a project-by-project basis.
Experience with flat pattern drafting; draping skills are an added advantage.
A portfolio or samples of previous pattern drafting work is required.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
W. A. E. C, vocational training, pattern drafting training
Minimum Experience
3 years
