A rice reaper is a motorized agricultural tool used to efficiently cut and lay down mature rice stalks in even rows. By drastically reducing labor and time, it optimizes the paddy harvesting process.
How They Work
Cutting: The machine cleanly severs rice stalks near the ground, minimizing grain loss.
Windrowing: It lays the cut stalks flat in neat rows (windrows), making manual or mechanical collection much easier.
Binding (Optional): Many modern variants (called Reaper Binders) tie the cut rice into neat bundles, streamlining the process even further.
