Zinobi, a fourteen-year-old boy, grows up in a polygamous and averagely comfortable home in a village, Bale. He is intelligent, hardworking and ambitious. His dream is to work towards having a safe community with a more fulfilling life; a place entrenched with adequate facilities.
At the peak of the militants’ conflicts in Bale, he wrote an essay regarding the conflict in his community, earning him a prestigious award at the National level. He dreams of a united nation, free from tribal disparities and religious discrimination. With the current ethnic conflicts occurring in several parts of Huito Republic, Zinobi finds ways to ensure that his society live in peace and harmony.
