Triluma Cream is a topical medicine containing three drug combinations; fluocinolone acetonide/hydroquinone/tretinoin for the treatment of moderate to severe melasma. Melasma occurs due to sun exposure, hormonal changes, ageing, etc. Hydroquine works by reducing the levels of melanin (the pigment responsible for skin darkening) in your skin. Thus, it lightens the dark-coloured patches and spots on your skin. Tretinoin helps quick renewal of skin cells while the steroid, fluocinolone, provides relief from redness, swelling and itching associated with the other active ingredients.Triluma Cream is a prescription-strength formula and it is recommended to be used under medical supervision. Do not use for more than 3 consecutive months. For external use only.
