Love can make otherwise sensible people do unreasonable
things. We pursue what doesn't want us. We hold on to what
has already let go. We interpret rejection as an insult. We
compare our journey with everyone else's. We turn
relationships into projects and sometimes mistake our ability
to make something happen for God's permission for it to
happen.
I have wondered about these things.
What does it mean when you really want someone, but they
don't want you?
What happens when you have done everything you know to
do and it still doesn't work?
How do you walk away from someone you genuinely wanted
without becoming bitter?
How do you know when to keep trying and when to stop?
And perhaps most importantly: what does trusting God
actually look like when it comes to love?
These pages are my attempt to think through so
