iPad 3 (named simply The New iPad) - the third generation of Apple tablet iPad. It was presented on march 2012 and became very popular among users again. A lot of first iPad users decided to change their device and bought the new iPad. Also, a lot of users of second iPad tried new device and bought it.
This time Apple didn’t change design of device, so it could be easy confused with iPad 2. Tablet became thicker and heavier because of usage of more powerful battery. Probably, design of the new iPad is not able to push the users to transition from second to third generation of Apple tablet. But improved hardware platform, and most importantly - Retina-display may be considered as significant improvements. The display of The New iPad is above all praise: the 9.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels (264 ppi).
The picture looks like polygraphy, the pixels are almost invisible. Compared to the screen of the new tablet, all other displays noticeably lose: the picture looks less clear and grainy. Technology of matrix production remained the same, it's all the same well-proven IPS, which combines maximum viewing angles with naturalistic colors. Also new tablet has updated operation system, where all bugs of previos system was improved. In this iPad version 4G module was added due to news internet technologies. The capacity of a new battery is 70% more (11560 mAh) than the in iPad 2.
