That’s a Bosch GGS 27 Professional Straight Grinder
What it’s used for:
Precision grinding, deburring, polishing, and carving. Think of it as a heavy-duty "Dremel" but for metalwork and industrial use. You use it with small mounted grinding points, burrs, and polishing wheels.
Key details from your photo:
1. Brand: BOSCH Professional - blue = pro line
2. Model: GGS 27
3. Type: Corded straight die grinder
4. Features:
• High RPM - usually around 27,000 rpm. That’s where the "27" in the name comes from
• Slim body - easy to hold like a pen for detailed work
• Collet system - yours has a 6mm collet, can also use 3mm/8mm with adapters
• Comes with accessories - I can see grinding stones and polishing wheels in the box
• Includes manuals next to it
