What is it used for?
This machine is used in welding shops and fabrication yards to bake and store welding electrodes.
Main Purpose:
1. Drying Electrodes - Low hydrogen electrodes like E7018 absorb moisture from air. If wet, they cause porosity, cracks, and bad welds. This dryer bakes out the moisture.
2. Storage at Temp - Keeps electrodes hot and dry at 70°C - 350°C so they stay usable all day on site.
3. Prevent Weld Defects - Required for code welding on pressure vessels, pipelines, structural steel, and shipbuilding.
