Intertherm 3070 Yellow COMPONENT A/B is a high-performance, two-component phenolic epoxy novolac coating developed by AkzoNobel under the International brand. It’s specifically engineered for subsea environments where extreme temperatures and corrosion resistance are critical. Gloss Level: Semi-gloss Temperature Resistance Designed to protect steel surfaces operating at temperatures up to 185°C (365°F) Application Details Recommended Methods: Airless spray (preferred), brush or roller for small areas Dry Film Thickness (DFT): Single coat: 100–175 microns (4–7 mils) Full system: 2 coats of 175 microns or 3 coats of 120 microns Max total system DFT: 450 microns (18 mils) Surface Prep: Abrasive blast to Sa21⁄2 (ISO 8501-1:2007) or SSPC-SP10 with a sharp profile of 50–75 microns
