Tempilstik box, which is a temperature-indicating crayon or stick used in welding, metalworking, and industrial manufacturing.
• Purpose: It measures surface temperatures. When you draw with it on a heated metal surface, the mark melts instantly once the metal reaches the stick's specific rated temperature.
• Common Uses: Preheating, interpass temperature control during welding, annealing, heat treating, and quality control inspections.
• Operation: No electronics, batteries, or calibration are required—each stick is manufactured to melt at a precise, fixed temperature point.
