Molykote D321R is an air-curing, anti-friction coating that acts as a dry lubricant for metal-to-metal applications with high loads and slow to medium-speed movements. It is used for permanent lubrication of stressed sliding guides, to improve the running-in process, and for applications with high vacuum or extreme temperatures. Its key components are molybdenum disulfide (\(MoS_{2}\)) and graphite, which provides high load-carrying capability and resistance to stick-slip, while the dry film prevents attracting contaminants.
