A Craftsman 25" fractional tape measure is designed for easy, accurate measurements by displaying common fractions directly on the blade. Instead of just hash marks, this tool labels measurements like 1/2", 1/4", and 1/8", which helps reduce errors and speeds up work for both DIYers and professionals.
Fractional read blade: The most important feature is the distinct, color-coded, and/or enlarged markings for common fractions of an inch. This eliminates the need to count hash marks and interpret the value of smaller lines.
25-foot length: The tape provides a total reach of 25 feet, making it suitable for a wide range of household and job-site projects.
Self-locking mechanism: Some models include an auto-locking feature that keeps the blade extended until you press a button to retract it.
