Multifak EP 0 is a multipurpose, amber-colored grease manufactured by Chevron (formerly Texaco). It is a very soft, lithium-based grease, classified as an NLGI grade 0, and is formulated for use in centralized lubrication systems. Composition Multifak EP 0 is a blend of: Base oils: Selected, highly refined mineral base oils. Thickener: Lithium-12-hydroxystearate soap. Additives: Extreme pressure (EP) additives for wear protection, plus rust and oxidation inhibitors. Key features Extreme pressure protection: The EP additives provide a high load-carrying capacity, protecting against wear and metal-to-metal contact in high-load applications. Excellent pumpability: Its NLGI 0 grade and buttery texture make it suitable for use in centralized lubrication systems that pump grease to multiple points.
