Responsibilities
- Operate a 9060 CO₂ laser cutting and engraving machine with Ruida controller and SV300 CCD camera.
- Use RDVision for camera positioning, contour recognition and accurate cutting of printed designs.
- Prepare artwork and cutting files using RDVision, RDWorks, LightBurn or CorelDRAW.
- Set appropriate speed, power, focus and cutting parameters for different materials.
- Cut and engrave acrylic, MDF, wood, leather, fabric, paper and cardboard.
- Calibrate the CCD camera and maintain accurate print-to-cut alignment.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, including mirror alignment and lens cleaning.
- Monitor CW5200 chiller, air assist and exhaust systems.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
- Follow laser safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven hands-on experience operating CO₂ laser cutting and engraving machines.
- MUST be proficient in RDVision software and SV300 CCD camera operation.
- Ability to calibrate the camera, recognize printed outlines and perform accurate contour cutting.
- Experience with RDWorks or LightBurn.
- Knowledge of CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator or similar design software.
- Understanding of laser power, speed, focus and settings for different materials.
- Ability to troubleshoot common machine and camera alignment problems.
- Basic knowledge of mirror alignment, lens cleaning and chiller maintenance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be careful, reliable, punctual and quality-conscious.
- Applicants must provide photos or videos of previous laser cutting jobs.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of practical CO₂ laser cutting and engraving experience.
- Demonstrable proficiency in RDVision and CCD camera-assisted contour cutting.
- Experience operating Ruida-controlled laser machines.
- Knowledge of RDWorks, LightBurn or CorelDRAW.
- Must be able to demonstrate practical machine operation during an assessment.
- Relevant technical or vocational training is an advantage.

We are hiring an experienced CO2 Laser Machine Operator to operate our mm) laser cutting and engraving machine equipped with a Ruida controller, SV300 CCD camera and CW5200 water chiller.
The ideal candidate must have practical experience using RDVision software for camera-assisted contour cutting, print-to-cut alignment and precision engraving.
Applicants must be able to operate the machine independently, prepare cutting files, select appropriate material settings, troubleshoot basic problems and maintain consistent production quality.
Practical demonstrations will form part of the recruitment process. Applicants with experience in RDVision and SV300 camera systems will receive priority consideration.
